Celebrating Excellence at the Water Institute’s 2023 Award Ceremony

We thank everyone who attended the Water Institute’s 2023 Award Ceremony on November 15. The event was dedicated to celebrate the achievements of the Water Institute’s Faculty Fellows and the graduate students who were awarded the Dissertation Awards, the Research Awards, the Spring, Summer, and Fall Travel Awards, and who were selected as Water Institute Ambassadors.

Hosted at the Keene Faculty Center, the ceremony saw Dr. Matt Cohen (Interim Director UF Water Institute), Dr. Robert Gilbert (Interim IFAS VP), Dr. Irene Cook (Assistant VP and Interim Director of Strategic Research Development), and Dr. Nicole Stedman (Associate Provost and Dean of the Graduate School) recognizing the impactful contributions that Water Institute Affiliated faculty and students make in advancing UF’s interdisciplinary water-related research, education, and extension programs.

The Water Institute’s 2023 Award Ceremony was a testament to the collaborative spirit and commitment to excellence that defines our community. We express our sincere appreciation to all who participated and contributed to the success of the evening. Your support is instrumental in propelling the Water Institute’s mission forward, and we eagerly anticipate the continued success and advancements in water-related research and education.
