The Water Institute congratulates Izuchukwu Ezukanma, a 2019 Water Institute Graduate Fellow, for being awarded the 2024 International Arctic Science Committee (IASC) Fellowship! The IASC Fellowship Program aims to engage early career researchers, provide opportunities to become involved in leading-edge scientific activities, build an international network, and development management skills. Izuchukwu was one of ten early career researchers selected for the available fellowships.

Izuchukwu’s fellowship award, titled “Roadmap for Arctic Observing and Data System (ROADS)”, will support increased involvement in the works and activities of the Sustaining Arctic Observing Network (SAON). SOAN is a joint initiative of the Arctic Council and International Arctic Science Committee aiming to strengthen multinational engagement in pan-Arctic observing.
