Assistant Professor, Soil and Water Sciences Department
Email: mary.lusk@ufl.edu
Phone: (813) 419-6670
Expertise: Dr. Lusk investigates how landscape management practices at site and neighborhood scales influence the storage, transport, and fate of constituents that may lead to water quality degradation. She studies the flux and storage of nutrients in managed urban landscapes, and the linkages between landscape management practices and urban soil and water quality. She is Assistant Professor of Urban Soil and Water Quality based at the Gulf Coast Research and Education Center with an extension program focusing on water conservation and urban water quality.
