Welcome New Faculty Advisory Committee Members

Thank you to all the affiliate faculty who participated in the election for the new term of Faculty Advisory Committee (FAC) members. Four members have been chosen for the 2026-2029 term starting this Spring semester. We welcome Dr. Benjamin Anderson, Dr. Savanna Barry, and Dr. Carla Brisotto as new members of the committee, and we welcome Dr. Lisa Krimsky as a reelected and returning member.

The Faculty Advisory Committee consists of 15 affiliate faculty on rotating terms. Members provide guidance to the Water Institute regarding programs, plans, and policies. With a breadth of expertise, discipline, and organizations, the Faculty Advisory Committee aims to reflect the interdisciplinary nature of the Water Institute and build connections across the University of Florida.

The Water Institute is thankful for the support from outgoing FAC members Drs. Christa Court, Katherin Serafin, and Jason von Meding. Their guidance was vital during the change of leadership for the Water Institute and during the creation of the 2025-2030 Water Institute Strategic Plan.

We look forward to working with Dr. Anderson, Dr. Barry, Dr. Brisotto, and Dr. Krimsky as the Water Institute continues to grow and carry out its strategic plan.
