OverFLoW Webinars Foster Statewide Collaboration on Water Issues
Ten public universities from the State University System of Florida came together for a monthly webinar series, known as the OverFLoW Series, designed to strengthen collaborations across the state. Alongside presentations from each university highlighting their water-related programs and expertise, the Water Institute facilitated interactive networking sessions to help participants identify shared interests and build a stronger statewide community.
The series emerged in response to a growing need for more coordinated efforts to address complex water challenges that extend beyond county and regional boundaries.
To support ongoing engagement, the Water Institute developed a hub featuring webinar recordings, presentation materials, and a searchable database of the participating experts. We extend our sincere thanks to Florida International University, Florida State University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, University of West Florida, Florida Atlantic University, University of Central Florida, University of North Florida, Florida Polytechnic University, and University of South Florida for giving us their time and contributions.
We look forward to seeing these connections continue to grow within Florida’s water science community.
