Making Waves: The Economics of Fresh Water with F.R.E. Lunch!

The UF Water Institute is excited to team up with the UF/IFAS Food and Resource Economics Department for the second season of their podcast, F.R.E. Lunch! Water Institute Communications Specialist Sarah Marc joined F.R.E. Marketing and Communications Specialist Alena Poulin and Lecturer Dr. Caleb Stair to develop and host this series. Titled The Economics of Fresh Water, this interdisciplinary-focused season brings water scientists and economists together for fun, bite-sized conversations.

Kicking things off in his newly released episode, Water Institute Director Dr. Matt Cohen starts the season with a deep dive into Florida’s fresh water resources and management challenges. Dr. Cohen’s episode, and every episode of the podcast, comes with Class Notes. These interactive materials are designed to spark discussion and critical thinking in classrooms and beyond.
