Welcome Seyed Mostafa Biazar Seighalani as the new HSAC Student Representative
Congratulations to Seyed Mostafa Biazar Seighalani for being elected the new Hydrologic Sciences Academic Concentration (HSAC) Student Representative! In this role, Seyed will serve as a voice for HSAC students and will provide valuable insight about the concentration during committee meetings with the Hydrologic Sciences Coordinating Committee. The voice of the HSAC Student Representative helps to ensure the concentration meets the needs of the HSAC students.
Seyed Mostafa Biazar Seighalani is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Soil, Water, and Ecosystem Science. His research focuses on developing mitigation strategies for groundwater contamination and employing artificial neural networks to enhance soil temperature predictions in subtropical environments. With previous experience as a water expert and surveyor, as well as participation in various international conferences, Seyed brings a wealth of knowledge to the role.
