Community Expertise
Serving as an interdisciplinary hub, the Water Institute connects its affiliate faculty with public and private partners to solve Florida’s complex water challenges. Affiliate faculty represent multiple disciplines across the University of Florida, and their expertise can be explored through the Water Institute’s new chatbot, The Conduit.

Our team brings expertise in team science, stakeholder engagement, and the co-development of knowledge, facilitating cross-sector collaboration and supporting workshops, meetings, proposal development, project management, and coordination.
Data Science and Planning
Transforming complex environmental data into actionable insights to support planning and decision-making. Drawing on in-house expertise, including postdoctoral researchers and technical staff, the Water Institute develops data management plans, synthesizes diverse datasets, and supports stakeholders in meeting reporting requirements and advancing data-informed water solutions.
