Water Institute Welcomes New Postdoctoral Associate

The Water Institute welcomes Dr. Nicolas Fernandez as a Postdoctoral Associate. Dr. Fernandez has a background in both academia and the private sector, having worked in environmental consulting, technical sales, and patents. He earned his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Universidad de los Andes located in Colombia. His work includes researching new connections between data science, water quality, and hydrology as well as assisting stakeholders in managing their water data. The Water Institute is excited for Dr. Fernandez to join the team and bring his wealth of experience as the Water Institute moves forward.
