Arc Hydro Meetings

Arc Hydro is a data structure that provides the capacity to link hydrologic data to water resources modeling and decision-making methods in a geographical information system (GIS) framework.  The Water Institute participates in the Florida Arc Hydro Working Group (FAHWG) to optimize Arc Hydro for Florida and to collaborate with users around the state.

Two years have passed since the "Core Principles and Collaboration" Arc Hydro workshop hosted by the Water Institute at the University of Florida. It's a good time to find out what has been going on with Arc Hydro-related developments from Florida Water Management Districts, county governments, FDEP, Florida consultants and the Water Institute. Dr. David Maidment and representatives from ESRI will be attending and Dr. Norm Jones will be speaking about further development of Groundwater Arc Hydro.
