Anne Elise Creamer is an expert in sorption using biochar and other pyrogenic carbon based materials and her interests lie in preserving Florida's water. At Cornell, Anne Elise worked in the Soil and Water Lab to obtain a baseline water quality assessment of the Marcellus Shale region prior to hydraulic fracturing. At UF, her dissertation work focused on CO2 capture and sequestration. She also studied the production of phosphorous sorbing biochar-AlOOH composites. Recently, she has worked alongside SJRWMD to develop denitrifying bioreactors in the Tri-County Ag Area. Currently, Anne Elise is a 4-H youth development agent in Clay County. She is developing programs for connect youth to science, technology, engineering, and math.
