My research focuses on four key ecological concepts: species interactions, population dynamics, community dynamics, and species distribution ecology. These concepts are applied to understand how aquatic ecosystems respond to fishing, habitat alteration or restoration, and environmental change. To that end, I develop original population dynamic and ecosystem models that include environmental drivers, trophic dynamics, and habitat interactions. The overall goal of my research is to provide information and tools that enable managers, scientists, and stakeholders to become better stewards of our shared natural resources.
