My research focuses on processes that structure aquatic ecosystems with an emphasis on fish communities in river and coastal systems. Most of my research is focused on helping resource managers make informed decisions related to evaluating fish population responses to management decisions. Much of my current research is with endangered or threatened fish species in river systems that have ongoing water allocation disputes. http://floridarivers.ifas.ufl.edu/
